This one day arrangement is daily available, except during the Oerol Festival on Terschelling and the Into The Great Wide Open event on Vlieland.
Sailings
The day package is valid daily* on all sailings from Harlingen to Terschelling and Vlieland. You have the choice to travel 1x with the ferry and 1x with the fast boat or book a return trip with the fast boat.
*The day package is not valid to Terschelling during the Oerol festival (Mon 8 June to Wed 24 June 2026) and to Vlieland during the Into The Great Wide Open festival (Wed 26 August to Mon 31 August 2026).
Important to know
Your e-ticket and the accompanying voucher for your rental bike or bus ticket and the food vouchers can be picked up from the ticket machine in Harlingen. For this it is required that you bring your reservation number (mentioned on the booking confirmation).
Bike rental
Do you choose to explore the island by bike? With your voucher you can go to any bicycle rental company on the island. It is not necessary to reserve a bicycle in advance with a bicycle rental company. There are plenty of bicycles in stock. You will receive a standard rental bicycle with gears. For a fee you can rent an electric bicycle, child seat, etc. from the bicycle rental company.

On arrival on Vlieland or Terschelling you will collect your comfortable bicycle from one of the bike rental shops. First drop in at the VVV Tourist Information Office to collect your island information package. Here you will find all kinds of interesting locations and information about sights on the island and spend the day any way you want.
Such a day cycling on the island always seems to whizz past, and before you know it you will have to hand in your bicycle and you will have boarded the ferry back to Harlingen.
